I am honored to have been selected for the Graduate Student Association (GSA) Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award at NC State University on April 22, 2026.

Presented by the NC State Graduate Student Association, this distinction acknowledges a small number of graduate students across the university for sustained commitment to teaching, mentorship, and student success, following a competitive nomination and review process.

Teaching has been a meaningful part of my graduate experience—shaping how I communicate ideas, engage with students, and think about learning more broadly. I am grateful to the students, faculty, and colleagues who have supported and influenced this journey.

I also recognize the many graduate students who contribute deeply to teaching every day, and I share this recognition with them.
