I was recently elected to serve as the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the 2025–2026 academic year in the NC State Graduate Student Association (GSA).

In this role, I will act as Executive Liaison to the Research Recognition Committee and help coordinate key initiatives such as the Graduate Student Association Conference/Travel Award and the Graduate Research Symposium. These programs aim to support and showcase the outstanding research contributions of NC State’s graduate community.

The election took place during the GSA All-Council Meeting on April 21, with representatives from across the university participating in the selection of the executive board. It was an honor to be chosen from among a strong field of candidates, each bringing a diverse range of experiences and perspectives.

I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the graduate student community in this new capacity, and I look forward to working alongside peers from across disciplines to strengthen academic engagement and foster a vibrant research environment at NC State.
